Stunning 21-acre waterfront Adirondack Camp on Clear Pond with 580 feet of waterfront just off of Rainbow Lake, the historic location of the Adirondack-Florida School. The property features an architecturally stunning central lodge, known as ''The Treehouse'' for its massive tree trunk column in the great room, and its many comfortable spots for eating, reading, watching movies or just plain relaxing. In addition, tucked into the pines is The Bunkhouse, which has 8 bedrooms and four full bathrooms, set apart from the social scene, and optimized for great sleeping conditions! The camp has been updated for sustainability, with electricity provided by three large solar installations, and geothermal heat pumps. The large south facing lawn and sandy beach, enabling easy walk-in access to the water and to the stunning boathouse and dock. In addition to swimming in the quiet, mile-long Clear Pond (there are only 3 other properties on the lake, the rest is forest preserve), you'll paddle or row directly from the camp to two additional lakes (Rainbow and Kushuqua) in a canoe, kayak, SUP or scull, or raise the sail on a Laser sailboat. Easy access to hiking and climbing at all levels, for which the Adirondacks are famous, as well as road, mountain and gravel biking. Enjoy a match on the lawn badminton court, or the ping-pong table in the barn. Sip your morning coffee with a fantastic lake view from the screen porch that integrates directly to the great room in fine weather, featuring its own massive outdoor fireplace when things cool off. Pick your own fresh blueberries in season right from the front yard, or paddle down the lake to one of several state wilderness campsites where you can pitch a tent for an overnight adventure or roast hot dogs and make s'mores. Walk up the hill to the field of wildflowers and hike the perimeter of the property on the marked 1-mile trail.
