Just outside the property line is a beautiful set of trees that give you a wonderful shade for your back yard. The city will not remove the trees because they add to the beauty of the frisby course. The survey shows the property to be partly in the 100 year flood plain. The record of the floods in the 1930's, 1997 and 2018 which all reached the same level have shown that an elevated house would be pretty safe from being flooded. None of the floods reached the 100 year flood plain estimated level. The last two floods only reached a fence my neighbor built in the 30's which he had built so he would no longer have to worry about the river taking out his fence. It hasn't. The 100 year flood plain line is marked on the survey.
