This site is registered in The National Historic Register as Chamois Public School. The Old School House on the Hill has been a legend in Chamois, from school days, American Legion H...all, Dance Hall, Bingo Hall, and now a beautiful and busy Bed & Breakfast business for the last 20 years. It has also offered a place for wedding venues and business meetings. The clock in the steeple of the building is still capable of keeping time as long as it is kept wound. How cool is that? Current owners say she is thinking of writing a book on her experience as the keeper of the Old School House.
