Established in 1982 by Robert & PJ Rex, DRW is located on +27 acres of picturesque vineyards alongside the Kenwood Marsh Nature Preserve overlooking the magnificent Mayacamas Range. The property located in the heart of Sonoma Valley on Highway 12 has its own left turn access lane that feeds into 2 of the 3 contiguous parcels. DRW practices sustainable winemaking and the vineyards are Certified Organic. +5 acres are planted to Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc and DRW has evergreen contracts with over 22 privately owned vineyards in Sonoma County. While DRW produces 7,500 cases and another 7,500 custom crush, there is potential to substantially increase production initially to 45,000 cases and ultimately 100,000 cases. Well and spring water access under easement on adjoining 20 acres (avail to purchase). On site there is a stunning +23,000 square foot cave with three tasting rooms that can comfortably host 80 guests. Winery has an open permit for public tasting and up to 55 events per year. It is the home of Clean Wine®, a proprietary winemaking method developed by Robert Rex which produces wines low in sulfites and low in histamines. This makes DRW a unique proposition in the world of wine as wine consumers become increasingly aware of health and wellness.
