Welcome to the Apex Centre, one of the largest and most prestigious working Horse Farms in Delaware. Known as many Equestrian professionals as the best location and most suitable stables on the Eastern shore. The Apex Centre has been the host of many large shows, events, trainings, clinics, private parties, corporate events, camping, and weddings. With just over 80 acres, if it can be dreamt it can be possible. New Delaware agriculture movements allow for additional uses with the 20 acres of tillable land. There's another 20 acres of woodlands at the very rear of the farm for multiple uses such as hunting or camping. The remaining 40 acres cover 15 thousand feet of vinyl fencing that provide function and beauty covering 6 large pastures including 5 run-ins evenly disbursed throughout the area. The main stable was built in 2008 with comfort, safety, and stability in mind. Construction consisted of deep concrete footers, tung and grove pine boards from floor to ceiling, and a sloped roof that can hold heavy snow loads without the fear of compromise. Lighting has been installed throughout for 24-hour access and sufficient lighting for the early Sunsets and Sunrise. The main stable is nearly 30,000 square feet featuring 39 matted and level stalls, 21 stalls are 12'x14' luxury window stalls and 18 are 12'x12' center aisle stalls. Each stall was meticulously designed to comfort each horse, their rider, and guests. In the middle of the main stable are two 400 square feet temperature-controlled tack rooms, two ready rooms, an enclosed hot/cold wash bay, and a 12'x 12' feed room. The center of the main stable features a finished 4000 square foot temperature-controlled entertainment venue with a restroom, kitchen with modern appliances, guest areas and conference center used for large gatherings, office space, lounging or a viewing area overlooking the stables on one side and a sliding glass door to view the 12,000 square foot indoor arena. The indoor arena has enough space for ground level seating and a viewing area with multiple uses and multiple entry points. There's no lack of parking space around the main stable with endless parking for guest trailers, RV's, cars and trucks. There are three oversized entry way doors and five pedestrian entry points. The second stable is approximately 2500 square feet currently used for equipment, storage, and maintenance. Featuring a 17' X 36' concreted shop area and an 36' x 48' open area. This area could easily be converted to a guest area, additional stables, or gardening house. For outdoor shows and events there are two outdoor rings, one is 45,000 square feet and the other is just under 8,000 square feet. The Apex Centre wouldn't be complete without the recently remodeled farmhouse. Currently used for trainers and care takers just a short walk from the stables is a 3 bedroom and 1.5 bath home built in 1922 and remodeled in 2021 featuring a new roof, upgraded cabinets, counters, fixtures, and hardwood floors. Additional features include sunroom, unfinished basement and attic. Outside the home are two RV electric hook ups. Perfect for the vacationer or extended guests to train. Listed as Commercial, Farm, and Residential.
