The Volga City Opera House stands as a unique and captivating historical landmark. Originally acquired in 2010 in a state of disrepair, it underwent a remarkable transformation driven by the founding of VCTC Inc. Generous individuals and countless volunteer hours breathed new life into the structure, culminating in what is now affectionately known as the Volga City Opera House (VCOH). Over the past 14 years, extensive renovations have revitalized the space, including updates such as new wiring, plumbing, windows, doors, flooring, bathrooms, an updated stage, and tasteful interior painting with hand-painted murals adorning the walls making this a turn-key adventure for the next owners. The exterior received equal attention, with tuckpointing, new steps, roof, and a handicap-accessible ramp constructed over old bridge planks, alongside period-appropriate outdoor lighting and structural reinforcements. The basement offers versatile potential for endeavors like Airbnb, apartments, or a restaurant. This includes a beautiful brick wall, windows, and two separate entry doors.
