Salt Creek Retreat Center has been a successful event center, located in Jefferson County Oklahoma, since its dedication in 2009. This gorgeous venue sits on approximately 4 acres surrounded by pecan trees and green fields. It is truly an oasis, conveniently located in Southern Oklahoma, halfway between DFW and OKC. Salt Creek has hosted Bible camps, weddings, family reunions, 4H camps, community events, and much more! With 9,600 square feet under one roof, this building can easily accommodate any event. There are two dormitories that each sleep 50, with designated bathrooms. Each bathroom includes 5 showers, 5 toilets, and 5 sinks including handicap accessible amenities. Outside you'll find a lovely 140' covered porch area, complete with rocking chairs, as well as beach volleyball, tetherball, human fuse ball, and a propane fire pit. Hot Oklahoma summers are no match for Salt Creek! There is a designated 5 ton HVAC for the dorms, while a separate 15.5 ton unit services the 4800 sq ft meeting/dining area, kitchen, and cook's quarters. There is an owned 500 gallon propane tank for cool weather and hot showers! There is also plenty of room outside to add RV hook-ups if that fits your vision. The event center has its own water well, septic, and rural power meter. Power is 3 phase and all underground. The building is full of light with huge windows across the front and 17' ceilings at the peak. The entire building is insulated with a "non-combustible" insulation. The sale will include all bunk beds, tables, chairs, state-of-the-art sound system, projector, game and event equipment, and kitchen equipment.
