The 2-car attached garage has the same vaulted ceiling height as the rest of the home and more living space could be added if desired. The primary suite with a log bed frame is accessed from a flight of open stairs in the great room. A gabled dormer window with a desk makes for a private office. Dressers with wood matching the walls and ceiling, as well as his and hers storage closets provide ample space for clothing and personal belongings. A lofty primary bathroom with a skylight has counter space for two. Completed in 2004, this log home was first constructed in Hope, British Columbia before disassembly and shipment to Yakutat in 7 shipping containers. The approximately 900-square-foot shop was added in 2015. The home and shop sit on .478 acres.
