For the first time in more than 30 years, Hart's Haven is being offered for sale. Located in Quitman County, Georgia, this 433.4-acre recreational and hunting property combines managed timber, hardwood bottoms, established wildlife habitat, water resources, lodging, equipment storage and an extensive package of equipment and improvements. The property features planted pines in various stages of growth interspersed with numerous hardwood bottoms. This mixture creates varied terrain and habitat across the acreage. Pataula Creek runs through the property, providing a year-round water source, while a 5-acre pond adds another significant water feature. The pond contains bass, crappie and bream and also provides seasonal habitat for ducks during the fall and winter. A sprinkler system serves the cabin yard. A detached garage provides additional storage and is topped by an approximately 1,000-square-foot apartment. The apartment is also finished in tongue-and-groove pine and includes one bathroom and a kitchenette area.
