Your dock is the driveway at this water-accessed camp on the northeast side of Long Lake. North-end places don't come for sale often, but that's not the only reason to look. This seasonal camp is well built and turn-key ready, with three bedrooms, one and a half baths, an open living plan, a screen porch for May, and a big, spacious, awesome deck squarely facing the sunsets over the water. Life is real, but that's why you're here. You pump water from the lake, heat with the wood stove, and light comes from Humphrey wall lights. You can get blazing-fast satellite internet, but be careful not to let that stuff in too far. Instead, go down to your beach or onto the included dock and watch the clouds roll over the lake, or go for a boat ride by the miles of wilderness to Turtle Beach. If the boat camp life isn't for you, that's ok. If it is, don't let this once-in-decades opportunity pass you by. Call for a six-mile boat ride starting from the lake's excellent full-service marina, and come see what might be your paradise on Long Lake.

UPDATE: Septic System was tested by an engineer and found to be 'functioning as designed and constructed.' Engineer's letter available upon request. Offers welcome! This was a nice home on July 9th, before a history-making flash flood caused the sudden breach of a massive beaver dam at Shaw Pond, releasing more than 100 million Gallons of water, damaging roads, bridges, and this house. The water was as high as the living room windows, but you saw the pictures. Since then, Long Lakers have pulled together, as they always do, and helped each other and this seller, well known in her own right as a friend to many. While the seller lost much, as the house was not insured, it was not destroyed outright, and there remains a good opportunity for a new owner to turn it back into a home. The house, as it was, had four bedrooms, two full baths, a dining room, a den, a living room, and a laundry in the full basement. Outside, there's an insulated 2-car garage, a lean-to with a fireplace, and a garden shed. It's all being sold as-is, of course. There's been work done already: Outside, the DOT significantly upgraded the drainage, removed truckloads of mud, regraded and seeded the front lawn, and installed a partial asphalt driveway. Inside, the house was gutted on the main floor up to the ceiling to allow it to dry. (The upstairs was unharmed.) The basement will receive a full water management remodel in October by a prominent regional basement company at the seller's expense. There's already a new electrical service, panel, and sub-panel. There is a lot more to do, but it will be worth it. Come build and live in a town where people still help each other.
