This property is about an hour west of Brigham City on the north end of the Great Salt Lake Salt Flats.... You can get to the property from the East or From the North. For the best maintained roads you would want to arrive from the north by way of Snowville and close to Park Valley via SR30. If you take the roads from the West they are mostly dirt and are fairly well maintained except for the last 3 to 4 miles. You can get to the property using any vehicle but high clearance is recommended. The closest town is Park Valley but there are limited services there. The closest town with services (gas, motel, restaurants, etc.) is Snowville. North of the property there is a cattle ranch which has several water pivots. This ranch also has power. But power lines are about 5 miles away at the nearest point. There are many recreational uses for this land and several points of interest surrounding it including: Kelton Ghost town about 4 miles from property Old Railroad Grade Road Still has bridges and trusses visible. Several informational signs along the road. Golden Spike Historic Park Old Fill Trail Hiking trail with educational walking tour Northrup Grumman Rocket Display This would be a great property for someone who wanted some property for off grid living. It would also be a great place for an ATV enthusiast. Vegetation mostly consists of prairie grass and sagebrush. I have seen rabbits, deer, and antelope in the area. directions: 1. Start at the old railroad grade from Kelton and head east for 2 to 3 miles. 2. Continue until you reach the cattle guard fence. 3. Turn north and follow the orange ribbons on the fence. 4. Continue following the fence and signs until you reach the second gate. 5. At the second gate, make a right (east) and continue for 1/2 mile. The property is marked with property markers.
